  2. Its between dates. If you got accepted on the 14th, then your DD will 2/20/13 or email out on 2//22/13

  3. what if i filled on the feb4 but got accepted on feb5 but i asked for a check when will it get here?

  4. On 2/23 the wheres my refund page stated that my refund was approved. Refund amoiunt was reduced to pay IRS tax obligation. It then states that my refund is scheduled to be sent to my bank on 2/27/13.
I checked again a few moments ago and the status bar has not changed from approved to sent, however it is still stating that it is scheduled to be sent today 2/27/13. Is this information accurate? This is the first time I have done direct deposit,

    ReplyDelete
  5. Yes, this is accurate. It doesn't show up as sent until it is in the bank.

  6. Thank you for the info. Hoping it shows today. I've read elswhere that it usually is available by mid morning. My bank is a student bank ( Higher One ) and they are always quick with refunds from my university.

  7. I did my return on 2/9 but on where is my refund it still say it is being processed and has been saying that since around 2/13 what's taking my return so long to be processed

    ReplyDelete
  8. That usually means the IRS is having an actual person review because something has changed from prior year. It happened with education credit forms such as Hope and American Opportunity were filed as well.

  9. Let us know please! :)

  10. Is there a specific time when the IRS send the funds to the bank via direct deposit? Its currently 10:11am EST, and nothing is showing as deposited or pending.

  11. Will by return still be in the 21 day mark

  12. Quentina, well I field my tax turn through E-Tax , just a few moments ago I checked where's my refund and it says cycle chart because I had my refund direct deposit , the chart clearly shows I should get today is this cycle chart rite?

  13. It's not when you file, it's from when you are accepted. When did you receive an email from the IRS(your software) saying that you were accepted?

  14. Some refunds are being slowed due to new auditing process. It usually doesn't mean anything other than a slight delay.

  15. I was accepted on Feb. 14 at 10:34 am eastern standard time. I keep checking the IRS website but it just says my return has been received and is being processed. Could this have something to do withthe education credit on my return? And do you think I will have by next week which would be the 21 day mark?

  16. Still no refund or deposit info. What time does the IRS send the refund / payment? My banks funds availability schedule shows direct deposits available the same day, ACH deposits the following day?
As of this morning the scheduled date was today.

  17. @drewpenn
I used a tax software to file my taxes and it was accepted on 02/14 both state and federal. Since then I have been able to track and see that on the IRS site and the software site. As of two days ago my status has disappeared and each site says “ they have no available information regarding my taxes or status. I called the IRS directly and was transferred to the “advanced accounts dept” where they looked through my account and put me on hold for a long time. They came back and told me everything was fine, I have no hold or notice on my account and will receive a refund within 21 days. I’m worried if I filed incorrectly or they gave me the wrong info. Why am I not seeing my status on the IRS site? Should I call back to double check?

    ReplyDelete
  18. This is what they are telling everyone. I would just wait and call back in a week or so. I seriously doubt that they gave you misinformation.

  19. My taxes where accepted on April 13. When I check the irs website it states that it is still being processed. I have an education credit as well. Is this the reason for the hold. I know some people that completed their taxes the same day as me and they have received a refund.

  20. Any news on your federal returns?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, they had a past debt due to HR Block from a refund loan. You need to contact the IRS asap and check your status personally.

  22. Ok....My taxes where accepted on April 13. When I check the irs website it states that it is still being processed. I have an education credit as well. Is this the reason for the hold. I know some people that completed their taxes the same day as me and they have received a refund. I wonder if this is the case with me as well

  23. So is the IRS saying that you have a past debt due?
